40절. 가뭄 Drought                                                                 

 

가뭄

 

인간사는 이세상에 In the human world,
거리가먼 지역에서 In distant regions,
하나님의 진리말씀 the word of God's truth
전달하는 선지자가 The visionary who delivers
여러명이 있다지만 There are many people

제대로된 진리말씀 Yet, true messengers
전달자는 많지않고 Are not plentiful,
여러가지 이름으로 And under various names,
하나님을 바꿔불러 God is invoked,
우리들은 모른다네 Unknown to us.

세월흘러 시간가면 As time passes,
뿌리없는 진리말씀 Rootless truths
없어지고 도태되어 Disappear and erode,
진리라는 이름들은 Names like "truth"
땅에묻혀 없어지네 Buried and gone.

과학이란 이름하에 under the name of science
눈으로는 보이지도 Even though you can see it with your eyes
들리지도 않는진리 an inaudible truth
믿으려고 이해하려  To believe, to understand
들지않고 오지않네 By those who choose not to believe.

의식바꿔 수용으로 Change of consciousness and acceptance
무조건적 믿음으로 in unconditional faith
이해하는 사람들은 People who understand
그다지도 많지않아 Not too much
진리말씀 멀어지네 And the truth diverges further away.
