할례 Circumcision

새벽부터 밤늦도록   From dawn until late at night,
부지런한 그대들은 You diligent ones are
미망속서 빠져있어   Engrossed in your pursuits,
눈을뜨고 잠을자는 No different from fish
물고기와 뭐다르냐  That open their eyes and sleep.

충혈된눈 시간없이 Eyes congested, time fleeting,
무엇들을 쫒아가며 Chasing after various things,
몸이깨어 있다하여 Even when awake,
그대들의 성심마저  Do not think your sincere hearts
깨어있다 생각말라  Are truly awakened.

그무엇에 쫒기면서 Chasing after something,
가쁜숨을 몰아쉬나 Breathing heavily,
부와명예 권력쫒아  Pursuing wealth, fame, and power,
시간들을 아낀다고  Claiming to save time,
언제가서 진리찾나 When will you seek the truth?

일어나서 앉아봐라   Rise and sit,
잠을자서 그대들에 I'm going to sleep
무슨이익 있겠는가  What's the benefit 
시간들은 쏜살같네 Time's like a shot
잠이라니 될법인가 Sleep? How can it work

짧은인생 인간생명   A short life. A human life  
결국에는 늙어죽고 Eventually, I'll get old and die
병들어서 백년이네 A hundred years pass.
깨어나서 진리찾고 Awaken and seek the truth,
평안함속 삶을사세 Live a life of peace and contentment.
