16절. 분쟁 Verse 16. Dispute                                               

분쟁

나의모든 일상생활 All my daily life,
그것들을 보고듣고 The disciples who see and hear,
해석하는 제자들은 And interpret them,
그들만의 시각으로 From their own perspectives,
판단하고 전달하네 Judge and convey.

개개인의 시각에는 In each individual's perspective,
그들만의 느낌들이 Their own feelings,
서로서로 다르기에 Being different from each other,
제각각의 이론갖고 Each with their own theories,
자신것이 옳다하네 Insist that theirs is correct.

서로서로 갖는편견 Prejudices held against each other,
상대방이 설파하는 the other person preaches
예수님의 말씀들이 The words of Jesus
하나둘씩 그룹되어 One by one, they form groups,
모여지고 흩어지네 Gather and scatter.

종교라는 이름하에 Under the name of religion,
내가믿는 무슨교다  It's the religion I believe in,
교리따라 한종파에  According to the doctrine, in one sect,
여러개의 파가생겨  Several factions arise,
서로서로 반목하네 They oppose each other.

종래에는 교리따라 In the past, according to the doctrine,
분열하여 싸움하고 They divided and fought,
이합집산 그속에서 In the midst of this division and unification,
또하나의 집단으로 Another group,
진리세상 없어지네 The world of truth disappears.
