마귀 The devil

 

사람은 몸있어 보고서 알지만
People see and recognize the body,
마음은 안보여 존재를 잊었지
But the heart, unseen, they forget its existence.

보이는 이몸이 없음을 모르고 
Not knowing the body is impermanent,
마음이 진정한 있음을 모르지
They don't realize the true existence of the heart.

말로만 마음을 버린다 하지만
They say they discard the mind with words,
실제는 가짐을 가지고 있었지
But in reality, they still possess attachment.

마음이 행동을 일으켜 행함을
The mind initiates actions and deeds,
알고도 못본체 일부러 잊었지
Yet deliberately forgets its true nature.

이세상 존재한 마귀중 제일큰
Of all the demons in this world,
최고의 마귀와 공존함 모르지
They don't realize coexistence with the greatest demon.

육신의 마귀와 마음의 마귀를
Both the demon of the flesh and the demon of the mind.
죽이고 버려야 진리를 득하지
To attain truth, one must kill
